Finally free!!!

 

After completing the process in Ellis Island, they come out of the building to the Kissing Post. There, many people had their families who landed in America years before them, waiting for them. They kissed, they laughed, they hugged, they cried. It was a joyous and beautiful moment as the immigrants come to realization that their long journey is finally over. They probably felt a mixture of various feelings as they spend their first day in America.
